>>The system has recovered from a serious error

Problem:

My system will restart automatically with blue screen for few seconds, after coming up it will popup alert message "The system has recovered from a serious error. A log of this error has been created. Please tell Microsoft about this problem. we have created an error report that you can send to help us improve Microsoft Windows. We will treat this report as Confidential and anonymous. To see what data this error report contains, click here" Please help am not able to do anything. Windows XP SP1a is running my computer.

Solution:

First of all you have to update you Windows XP with Service Pack 2. If you have internet connection to you system. Open Internet Explorer, click on Tools, and then click on 'Windows update'

Windows update will scan your computer for update. It will install Service pack 2 and all required security patches.
