>>The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows

Problem:

Hi I have Windows XP SP2 running in my PC. When ever start my PC I will get following error message "16-bit MS-DOS Subsystem path to the program that you are trying to start or install C:\Winnt\System32\config.nt The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application. If try to install any software it will through the same error, finally it will not install. Please help resolving this issue.

Solution:

Look like Command.com, Autoexec.nt and Config.nt files are corrupted. You have to replace these file from Windows XP CD.
