"Critical System Error!" alert on system tray.
Problem:
I am getting a popup message Virus Alert
"Critical System Errors!" on my system tray. There is a flashing icon, yellow
Exclamatory mark and a red prohibition sign. On click that icon its shows
message window which contains "System detected virus activities. They
cause critical system failure. Please, use Antispyware software to clean and
protect your system from parasite programs. Click this baloon to get all
available software". I have tried to uninstall
miscellaneous software related to this but I didn't find anything there.
Please let me know how to get rid of it.

Look like VirusBurster got installed in your
computer. This will give fake warning on your computer to buy their product.
Here is the steps to remove this.
1. Download
SmitfraudFix.exe
and save it on your desktop.
2. Restart your computer. while booting after
POST press F8 function key.
3. Select "Safe mode." in the menu and press
Enter.
4. After stating Windows in safe mode, double
click on SmitFraudFix.
5. Press any key to go to SmitFraudFix menu.
Press 2 key and press enter. This will run Clean (safe mode
recommended.) option.
6. After cleaning done. it will start disk
cleanup to remove all Temporary Internet files, Temp file, and other files.
7. After finishing Disk Cleanup, it will
prompt Do you want to clean the registry? (y/n). Press Y key
and press enter key.
8. After cleaning Registry, it will prompt for
computer restart. press Spacebar key to restart your computer. Computer will
reboot with 15 sec counter window.
Now your computer free from infection.
